  The Joint Interoperability Test Command's NITFS Test Facility & Lab use software test tools in the certification process of NITF imagery system.  CIVA is the test tool developed by lab personnel in pursuit of the NITF compliance mission.  CIVA is distributed freely to assist parties in evaluating NITF compliance of their imagery products.  (Note: The use of the tool does NOT guarantee product file compliance.)
